Religiosity and death anxiety among madrasa and college students

Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship of religiosity and death anxiety among students of Madrassa and colleges.
Methodology: Sample consisted of 200 students; Males = 100 and Females = 100. Religious Orientation Scale (ROS) was administered to measure religiosity and Death Anxiety Scale (Urdu Version) was administered to measure death anxiety.
Results: Madrassa students had high religiosity as compared to college students but there were non-significant gender based differences on religiosity. Moreover, Madrassa students had low death anxiety as compared to college students.
Conclusion: There were significant gender based differences on death anxiety as female students scored high on death anxiety as compared to male students.
