Schwannoma of the tongue: A case report

Abstract
This is a case of 55 years old lady who presented with painless, slow-growing mass over right lateral border of the tongue for eight months duration. Examination revealed 2cm x 2cm mass located at right lateral border of the tongue. Palpation showed a firm, mobile and non-tender mass. Patient undergone complete surgical excision of the mass with primary closure under general anaesthesia. Histopathological examination showed evidence which is consistent with Schwannoma.
